Fly Pink 2025

The Friends of Fly Pink embarked on our annual hike in Hong Kong.  This year, we set our sights on the beautiful Por Ka Shan-Pak Mong Village-Tung Chung route on Lantau Island. Despite the torrential rain, our spirits remained high, and we tackled the trail with plenty laughter. In the end, it's all about the adventure and the camaraderie, rain or shine!

Our annual street sales event at Cathay City and partner airline offices, raise vital funds for our fundraising initiative. Each year, we kick off our design and purchasing process in April, leading up to an exciting three-week sales event on "The Street" in October. Our dedicated volunteers, including flight crew, ground staff, friends, and family members, play a crucial role in this effort, sacrificing their free time to help order and test products, as well as manage the merchandise table during the sales. 

We were thrilled to be offered our first double feature in the Cathay In-flight Magazine! Throughout October, international travelers had the opportunity to learn more about the incredible efforts of the Fly Pink team in raising funds and awareness for the Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation. We hope we will be able to make this a regular highlight, showcasing our commitment to this important cause.

The highlight of our Fly Pink fundraiser is obviously the moment we hand over our funds to the HKBCF. This culmination of a year's work is always rewarding, and it's inspiring to witness the organization's gratitude for every cent raised. During our visit to their North Point offices, we had the opportunity to tour their facilities and see firsthand how our contributions are making a difference

The Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation's offcial Pink Walk 2025 was held on October 19 at The Peak, celebrating its 20th anniversary with the theme "Journeying Together 20 Years". It featured a 3.5 km walk starting from Peak Road Garden.  As always, Fly Pink participated in this fun-filled event. Our team consisted out of flight crew, ground staff, friends and family. It was a beautiful day and once again, we managed to walk away with the coveted best dressed award.

Each year, our flight crew transitions to pink eppaulettes, symbolizing our commitment to this important cause. This year, we were able to include our flight engineers in this initiative as well. We were also able to equip them with specially designed pink hard hats that meet safety requirements while showing solidarity. Together, we stand in the fight against breast cancer!

Fly Pink is proudly supported both in the air and on the ground, with countless individuals sharing incredible photos of our merchandise on its journey. From the picturesque vineyards of Italy to the stunning beaches of Phuket and the majestic snow-covered mountains of Alaska, Fly Pink is showcased and celebrated all year round. On April 1st we traditionally hold our annual AGM, where both previous and new volunteers will come together via Zoom to discuss the exciting activities and products for the year ahead. Fly Pink truly requires all hands on deck, and we are incredibly grateful to our partners for their unwavering support in making Fly Pink a resounding success.
