FLY PINK 2023 IS ON!
It's October again and this mean it's Fly Pink time. We are certainly looking forward to raising funds and awareness in a Post Covid environment. The last 3 years were incredibly challenging, but thankfully our supporters allowed us to still raise a substantial amount of money for the Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation. We would certainly not have been able to reach our goals, were it not for our fantastic collaborators. We are thankful that all of them decided to partner with us again and we cannot wait to see what this year's results will be. Please support our collaborators during the rest of the year, as they supported us during October.
SHOP WITH CATHAY
The Cathay Shop is once again partnering with Fly Pink Hong Kong. This is the second year that we are collaborating with them after an overwhelmingly positive response in 2022. 10% of the proceeds of the Cathay Shop Merchandise and a 100% of the revenue of the Fly Pink Merchandise will be donated to the Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation as support. PINK WALK 2023
The annual Pink Walk on The Peak is back! After a 3 year hiatus during the Covid pandemic, the Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation's Pink Walk is back and over 2000 participants are expected to take part in this fun event. It consists of a 3.5 km circular route with staggered starting times between 8:45am to 11:30am. This will make sure that all participants have a comfortable walking experience. There will be water stations along the route and prizes will be awarded for the best dressed individual, group and pet. So come along and join the Fly Pink Hong Kong team in supporting the Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation in this fun event.
STREET SALES AT CATHAY CITY
The Street Sales table is Fly Pink Hong Kong's major fund raising activity. Selling mostly Fly Pink branded merchandise, we try to introduce new products every year to keep the initiative fresh and exciting. This year is no different. You can also find in a few non branded items, in particularly toys for children. The Street Sales are run by volunteer aircrew during weekdays, from 10am to 2pm. It will be operational from 3 to 27 October 2023. If you are unable to visit our Street Sales table, please visit our online store and don't miss out on these great products.
AITCH'S BILTONG
This is the second year we are partnering with the very popular Aitch's Biltong. This traditional South African Biltong is made with premium grass fed beef and free from any preservatives, MSG's or nitrates. Aitch's Biltong has produced a limited amount of Pink Bags printed for Breast Cancer Awareness month. They will donate HKD10 for every 80gr pack, and HKD5 for every 30gr pack sold in October. You buy it at our merchadise table at the street or at their online store.
WAXDASH
Waxdash is back again by popular demand after a sold out product launch in 2022. Their heavenly smelling candles are custom made with Fly Pink lettering and makes for a great gift, for yourself and your friends. They are also introducing their angel aroma wax melts, which can be purchased with or without a tea light burner. Their candles and wax melts are made with 100% soy wax and fragrance oils that are eco-friendly and non toxic. Waxdash will donate 30% of the proceeds towards the Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation. You can buy them from our Street Sales or online from the Waxdash shop.
PINK RIBBON DONUTS
The Headland Hotel is once again generously contributing their culinary skills towards the Fly Pink effort. Last year, their Pink Cupcakes were an instant hit. This year, their delicious Pink Ribbon donuts are sure to be an even greater success. Freshly made each day, and lovingly hand crafted by Head Chef Leung Chi, this delectable treat is available exclusively at Cathay City. The Headland hotel will donate HKD 5 towards the Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation for every donut sold.
